SPINE AND NERVE SYSTEM
Communication of the nerve system is vital for the full expression of innate intelligence. The signals sent across the nerve system are to coordinate all functions of the body. Healing, growth, metabolism or adaptation to the changing environment are all a result of nerve system coordination. When the signals of the nerve system are interfered with, the expression of the innate intelligence is altered and results in diminished coordination of the systems of the body. This results in a dis-ease. A lack of harmony in the body. The chiropractic adjustment is intended to restore communication and harmony to the nerve system and the body as a whole.
This is an example of a SUBLUXATION where there is misalignment of a vertebra which alters the signals flowing across the nerve system. This altered mental impulse interferes with the healing process causing a lack of harmony or DIS-EASE. This can occur with or without symptoms.
Subluxation can occur at any level throughout the spine, interfering with the area supplied by the nerves of that level.
